Appointment Colors from Tutors Schedule show on Appointment Wizard
We designate tutors time between appointments, drop-in, and same day visits using the colors red, dark green, and light green. When we designate a tutors time on their schedule using these colors, the front office staff doesn't see these colors when booking appointments using the Appointment Wizard.
20 votesThe colors mentioned are used to show slot info (open, exclusive, full, etc.) What you are requesting is to show status of tutors at these slots (e.g. at a meeting, on vacation, etc). This is not supported at this time. Anyway, we are trying to abandon using colors to distinguish slots as that is not ADA compliant.

Ability to copy permissions to Access Groups
When setting up permissions for an Access Group, would be helpful to be able to copy an existing access group and make changes as necessary.

Activity ID Hidden from Sign in Screen
There should be an option to hide the activity ID from the sign in screen. Many customers use the Activity ID field to store codes that ease reporting however, these codes make no sense to the student and often cause confusing when the student to choosing items at sign in.

Waitlist for appointments for activities that are fully booked.
The current waitlist function in Accutrack favors walk-in tutoring but does not help for appointment-based tutoring. In many cases, a student leaves our center without an appointment because all the tutors who support the activity are booked at the time the student is available. If one of these appointments is cancelled, we have to work from a paper-based waitlist to see if a student can be accommodated. A list in Accutrack that would collect the student's available times and automatically assign the student to an appropriate available tutor would be a time saver as well as more fair to students…

Ability to change hours available for tutors
The hours that are available to schedule tutors is only from 7:00AM to 10:00PM. We would like the ability to change this, we have tutor hours available 24 hours a day.

Ability to limit appointments by Activity
In order to comply with current process and policy, it would be beneficial to be able to limit student booking by course as well as by day and week.
We would like to limit the amount of appointments a student can make for a specific activity. We would like those limitations to reflect on both a daily and weekly limit.

A Quantity for Media Checkout
Instead of having to list each item, it would be nice if I could do Stapler 20, then just loan out 1 of the 20, instead of having to ID each one individually

Add a TLS option for sending messages in the SMTP email settings in AccuTrack/AccuSQL
It appears that we have only the option to send using SSL with a specific port in the email settings but there is no where to set the encrypted connection type of TLS, SSL, None, or Auto. We are getting timeout errors and cannot use our SMTP server because it requires a TLS encryption connection type.

Have a college news and welcome message only show up before you login to web gateway
Once the users are logged out it appears that they get confused and we would like the news to give them a different set of instructions then what they see when they are logged into web gateway but both the welcome message and news always appear. Since we are using SSO for Web Gateway when they log-out they need to be redirected to our website as well.

Custom surveys available on every sign out
The custom surveys are powerful, but we need to tie them to every sign out, rather than once per time period. Can you add this functionality? It's essential for what we are trying to capture.

Add ability to choose which access group that uses the AccuTrack 2015 Quick Panel
We do not use the tutor module in Accutrack, therefore it is our skills specialists who need access to the Quick Panel information especially session logs. I need a way to allow the staff skills specialist to have more permissions in the Quick Panel.

Allow setting of date, start-time and end-time during class sign-in.
We frequently hold events in places where no sign-in station is available and at this time there is not money available to purchase iOS devices for the presenters to borrow. This means that I get sign-in sheets for these presentations and must then enter the attendance after the fact. Currently, I use the class sign in feature when the tutoring center is closed and then manually edit all the records to show the correct date and times. If it were possible to set the date and times as part of the class sign in I would save a lot of…

Add a date/time to the tutoring request so that once they are assigned it schedules the appt.
Tutoring request does not have all the data to auto schedule appt. Let's get that into AccuTrack!

associate certain tutors with a particular service type
I understand that I can associate tutors with particular "Activities" (in our case, courses), but I'd rather have the tutor list filtered by service type. For instance, if a student signs in for a History 111 class with a service type of "Writing Consultation", I'd like he or she to see a particular list of tutors. Then, if a student signs in for the same course with a service type of "Computer Assistance", I'd like the student to see a different list of tutors.

Take a picture of student upon signing in or out via Card Swipe at a "Sign in Station" and log with data.
In certain environments an autonomous sign in station is the most efficient means of attendance tracking (i.e. in a college environment where you might have 200 student in a lecture hall). It is not practical for a professor to roll call nor is smart for the professor to just trust the students with a sign in station. Biometrics might be the best option, but in most cases the student body will find it too invasive for the university to take their finger print. So to start off if you could give the software the ability to autonomously take a picture…

Allow for the tutor schedule to include walk in times, not just times designated for appointments only.
The use of the term drop-in is a misnomer. Our Center provides one to one appointments, group appointments and unscheduled walk ins (students that just drop by for help). It would be beneficial to be able to enter the tutors entire schedule as opposed to only their appointment availability.

Allow the Apple app to be used with the "Square" magnetic card reader.
Open up the software to be more compatible to the various types of magnetic card readers already available on the market. In this way a customer could purchase a reader off of amazon and use it wilt your app. Or, make the model/product information of the current compatible reader available online so that a customer can purchase the device from anywhere.
3 votesThanks for the suggestion. Unfortunately this is not possible because each hardware device / ID reader requires integration with its driver to work. Often the drivers are not offered for other applications. For example, the Square is intended for credit card sales and is not be available for third party developers like us. We support an ID reader that is open to developers and was tested and found to work well with our apps. You can order this reader from us directly.

Allow only certain permissions groups to use the Delete button in the student panel, edit sign in panel, and session logs panel.
This would allow general users to enter students, logs, and comments while having admins be the only users able to delete these entries.
